I am a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with clients to manage symptoms of Depression, Anxiety, Grief. I also helped people dealing with domestic violence, trauma, school issues, challenges with relationships, work stress, low self-esteem, and life transitions. I use a strengths based approach as well as CBT interventions and techniques. I have worked with people of all ages.
The first session will consist of us discussing background information. We will get to know eachother and identify if this is a good therapeutic fit.
I am very calm, non judgmental. I have a natural desire to want to help others. I have a warm and welcoming approach. This approach allows people to feel safe and to just be themselves.
