I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters degree from Northcentral University and have been practicing for 4 years. I work with children, pre-adolescent, adolescents, individuals, and couples who feel overwhelmed and debilitated with everyday life and relationships.
In our first session together, I will spend some time getting to know you and the issues that brought you into treatment. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in future sessions.
My greatest strengths as a therapists are compassion, excellent listening skills, and the ability to verbally communicate. It's important as a Therapist to have compassion so that we can connect with our clients. It's also important to utilize excellent listening skills so that our clients feel valued. Lastly, it's important to be able to verbally communicate with our clients to offer them support and help them articulate their feelings.
I work with children, pre-adolescent, adolescents, individuals, and couples.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy allows clients to identify troubling situations/conditions in their life. It also allows clients to become aware of their thoughts, emotions, and beliefs about the issues. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy also helps clients identify negative/inaccurate thinking, and help reshape negative/inaccurate thinking.
