PMHNP, 10 years of experience
New to Grow
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate degree. I specialize in in providing mental health evaluation and diagnosis, medication management, and psychotherapy. I am passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward emotional wellness and personal growth. I believe that mental health care should be compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel understood, valued, and empowered to make positive changes in your life. I approach treatment holistically, focusing on the mind, body, and emotional well-being of each individual while using evidence-based practices to provide personalized care.
Our first session is about getting to know you as a person, not just your symptoms. We will take time to discuss your story, your concerns, and your goals for treatment. I’ll listen carefully and work to understand your unique experiences so we can develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs and values. This may include therapy, medication management, coping strategies, and lifestyle recommendations — all tailored to support your emotional and mental well-being. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about your path forward.
My greatest strength lies in my ability to build genuine, trusting connections with my patients. I believe that healing begins with feeling safe and understood, and I strive to provide a supportive environment where you can openly express yourself without fear of judgment. By combining clinical expertise with compassion and empathy, I empower patients to recognize their strengths, develop resilience, and take an active role in their mental health journey. My focus is not only on managing symptoms but also on helping you create lasting change and a more fulfilling life.
I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, stress, and life transitions. My ideal patients are individuals who are open to exploring their experiences, seeking support, and working collaboratively toward meaningful change — even if they are unsure of where to begin. Whether you are struggling with emotional difficulties, managing a mental health diagnosis, or simply striving for balance, I am here to walk alongside you with compassion and guidance.
For many people, treatment programs like CBT have more lasting results when combined with psychotropic medications. The reason is that these therapies teach you coping skills, help you identify inaccurate or negative thinking, and give you the necessary tools to challenge and replace negative self-beliefs, leading to optimal functioning.
