I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Kentucky and a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) in Utah. I have over 20 years experience working therapeutically with individuals (adults and adolescents) making positive changes in their lives. I primarily work with people challenged by depression, anxiety, addictions, trauma, abuse and general life-changing situations. My counseling style is interactive, empathetic, and warm. I believe listening is the key to success in a therapeutic relationship and every individual I serve will feel heard. My approach is client-centered, solution-focused and strength-based drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am holistic in my approach, integrating mind and body connection and encourage my clients to consider these connections in their daily lives to enhance health and wholeness.
I strive to make the therapy experience genuine, positive, respectful and safe. I believe that YOU are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming/managing the issues that challenge you. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the steps to accomplish that. If you are ready to take those steps, I am here to support and help empower you.
