Hello! I'm Daphne, founder of Paved Counseling Services. I started this practice because I noticed a crucial need—adults struggling to break free from the generational impact of trauma that continues to affect their mental and emotional well-being. My mission is to help you heal from past wounds and break these cycles, so you can live a life of freedom and fulfillment. At Paved Counseling Services, we specialize in supporting adults who have experienced trauma, helping you overcome challenges like anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and unhealthy coping mechanisms. Our holistic approach integrates faith, therapy, and goal-setting to guide you on your journey toward lasting change. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to collaborate with you, using proven therapeutic methods like EMDR, Brainspotting, and CBT. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your unique needs and helps you achieve the growth you desire. Imagine a future where your past no longer controls your present—a future where you are empowered to build healthier relationships and make decisions that align with the person you want to become. That’s the transformation I’m dedicated to helping you achieve. Let’s break the cycle of trauma together. At Paved Counseling Services, we’re here to support you in building a foundation of healing and strength for yourself and future generations.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, you can expect a welcoming and collaborative environment where we focus on getting to know you and your unique story. This session is dedicated to understanding who you are, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to achieve. We’ll explore your experiences, challenges, and any specific concerns you have. I’ll gather important information to help us create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals. We’ll discuss what has worked for you in the past, what hasn’t, and address any current symptoms or issues you’re facing. My goal is to ensure you feel heard and understood from the very beginning. We’ll also discuss what you can expect from therapy, address any questions you might have, and start building a strong foundation for our work together. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer picture of the path forward, focused on your healing and growth.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider lie in my collaborative approach, tailored treatment, holistic perspective, experience with trauma, and commitment to empathy and support. I value working closely with clients, recognizing their expertise in their own lives, and fostering a strong therapeutic relationship. With training in various modalities like EMDR, Brainspotting, and CBT, I can customize my approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals, ensuring a personalized and effective treatment plan. My holistic perspective integrates faith, therapy, and goal-setting, addressing the whole person and their family dynamics. Extensive experience in trauma-informed care enables me to understand and address the complex effects of trauma, particularly in helping parents break generational cycles. Above all, I am dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their healing journey.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

The clients I’m best equipped to serve are adults who have experienced trauma and are seeking to break the generational cycles that impact their lives. These individuals often recognize that the patterns they inherited from their upbringing are unhealthy, but they may feel unsure about how to create lasting change. They might be dealing with anxiety, depression, or feeling overwhelmed, and they’re also struggling with addictions like substance abuse, overeating, or unhealthy sexual behaviors. They’re looking for guidance on how to heal, break free from these patterns, and create a healthier future for themselves. My ideal clients are those who are motivated to create positive change and are open to exploring how past trauma influences their current parenting. They’re looking for a safe, supportive space to heal, learn, and grow. The goal is to end the generational cycles of pain and pass on healing to their children and future generations.
