New to Grow
I have 4 years of experience working as a mental health counselors. During those 4 years, I gained the experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions, including those related to immigration and cultural adjustment. As someone who understands the unique challenges that can come with navigating different cultural expectations and environments, I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you're already carrying so much. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. I like to provide a safe environment where you can express what it is that you are wanting/needing to work on during your therapeutic approach. If you don’t know what those needs are, we can work together to identify them going at a pace that is beneficial to you. You have the autonomy to your treatment.
When working with individuals, my primary focus is using a holistic approach where I look at the whole person—mind, body, and life circumstances—rather than focusing on just one issue or symptom. A holistic therapeutic approach considers how your thoughts, emotions, physical health, relationships, culture, and environment all interact and influence your well-being.
I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, depression, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or uncertain about their next steps. As an immigrant, I also provide a culturally aware and affirming space for individuals adjusting to life in the United States. I understand the unique challenges that can come with navigating different cultural expectations, identity shifts, family dynamics, and the pressure to succeed while adapting to a new environment. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported-without having to explain or minimize your personal experiences.
