About me

I am Zarinah Foggle, a licensed therapist in Virginia, Texas, and Iowa with fourteen years of professional counseling experience. My passion is helping clients adapt healthy ways to cope with stress and intense emotions related to family or relationship issues, low motivation, depression, anxiety, trauma and many others stressors. I use CBT techniques to guide clients towards awareness of how thoughts and feelings impact behaviors and can often lead to undesired outcomes.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I provide an open and safe environment where client's thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I work collaboratively with clients, providing a safe and supportive space to work on their individual areas of need. Clients will learn healthy coping skills and ways to improve their overall health and well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I utilize an evidence-based, integrative therapeutic approach in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). To ensure care is tailored to your unique identity and history, I blend insights from Narrative Therapy, Transactional Analysis, and trauma-focused frameworks like TF-CBT. This approach allows us to address immediate symptoms while working through deeper relational and life patterns.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I work collaboratively with adult clients, providing a safe and supportive space to work on their individual areas of need. Clients will learn healthy coping skills and ways to improve their overall health and well-being. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience.
