Hello and Welcome! My name is Pam and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I have been practicing for over 12 years as a therapist. I help individuals 12 and up learn more about their how their experiences and emotions affect them as well as working with them to identify ways to help them become the best version of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions with goals that are important to you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having been in this profession for over 12 years, I have learned a tremendous amount of techniques and strategies to help my clients feel empowered and supported while they are in therapy.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past twelve years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety and depression symptoms. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I’ve been using ACT strategies in my practice for the past ten years. It’s helped clients learn ways to accept how they feel without any judgement. We’ll use a variety of strategies to help you move forward through difficult emotions while learning to focus more in the present.

Attachment-based

I have used attachment based practices for the past five years with client. This form of therapy utilized attachment theory to clients develop and/or rebuild trusting relationships and process emotions.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness based therapy is a form of therapy that combines CBT strategies with mindfulness practices, such as meditation and breathing exercises. This type of therapy is designed to help clients becomes more aware of the present moment and break negative thought patterns.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivation interviewing is a client centered based therapy style that helps clients change their behavior by exploring and resolving ambivalence.
