I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with almost 20 years experience. I have taught college classes in psychology, which gives me a unique perspective in understand why we behave the way we behave. I love the brain and try explain some of our behaviors based on what I have learned about the mind and how it works. As a marriage and family therapist, I look at behaviors as a reflection of our past and present circumstances.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be an introduction of myself and how I conduct therapy. We will discuss your experiences expectations around therapy and develop a plan to move forward together. We can discuss what is bringing you to therapy and ways you have tried to address those concerns before. I offer a nonjudgmental, safe environment and will support you as you seek to make the changes you want in your life

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am a mother of 14 children, biological, adopted, and step. I understand the dynamics of families based on my personal experiences. I also have worked in a variety of settings to gain a better understanding of human behavior.
