I am licensed with the state of Florida and received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have been providing therapeutic services to children, teenagers, and adults for 7 years. My therapeutic approach emphasizes tailoring evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as mindfulness-based interventions and education to fit the client’s unique individual needs and maximize the effectiveness of psychotherapy. Hi. I am Victoria. I believe that we each have the power within us to heal, change and grow the life we’ve always imagined. But no one does this alone. I value the power of therapeutic relationships to help us overcome fears and obstacles that get in the way; whether from trauma, symptoms of anxiety or depression, or difficult medical, societal or environmental circumstances. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work and completed a Post-Master's Fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center. I have been a licensed clinician for 35 years. I am also a Qualified Supervisor of therapists specializing in the treatment of trauma of all kinds including loss and attachment trauma from disrupted relationships. I work with pre-school children and their families, school-aged children and teens and adults. I have successfully treated a wide range of behavioral health disorders including ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, BiPolar Disorder, Eating Disorders and many co-occurring concerns. I am person-centered and strive to be culturally aware in all that I do. Therapy proceeds at your pace, in your time at your direction.
