Graduating in 2012, I have met with many hundreds of individuals, couples and families using a myriad of different methodologies. What I have learned is that the best way to help a client is to let go of anything you ever learned and connect with the person individual in front of you, not as a client but as a person. In addition, I take a highly biased and slanted bent towards your strengths and qualities with an unhidden agenda of manifesting your individual core beauty. In other words, this is a highly individual journey and the key to enjoying it is through highly colored lenses of your inexhaustible array of qualities. All methodology and techniques fall to the wayside.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing individually and as part of a relationship or family. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with individuals, families and couples for 14 years, I've developed a highly intuitive and effective approach to help you realize what it is your struggling with as an individual or unit. The approach we take will be based on what your individual and family goals are and the use of your strengths and resources to get there.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Hello and I am so happy to meet with you! I would love to move forward with you. The following elements will make this process much more beneficial for you. Understanding how therapy is a process and takes time is the first piece. In addition, leaning into the unknown or what others call "the uncomfortable," is critical to our work together. Most importantly though, willing to see what and develop what is not yet seen in reality but latent in the depths of your strength is something we will hyper-develop. You may want to call this "manifesting," "strength based," "positive psychology etc." I call it, "you." everyone needs assistance from another individual to help them see their trueness and inner beauty. I am honored to be included in your journey.

My treatment methods

EMDR

Though EMDR has been proven to be helpful, primaily with trauma related challenges, I incorporate aspects of this highly powerful technique into our sessions. Yes, we do this technique online and in person, and is highly effective in any setting. I have helped many people over 6 years with this method, often achieving better results through online sessions. Of course, the method used is secondary to the individual in front of me, who will always be treated as an individual.

Mind-body approach

The use of mind-body is more than a technique, rather it is the basis of the idea that we are much more than our thoughts. Rather, the health and accuracy of our thoughts can be measured and assessed through self observing (and enlisting others to help) and taking note of our individual responses. As your therapist, I will be taking "the whole you," into account and will guide you to realize the deep core of wisdom you already possess.

Strength-Based

Positivity and recognition of your individual strengths sits at the core of our relationship and our progress. You can go nowhere in any aspect of life without an exaggerated view of your qualities,. Yes, our work together is guided by the following creed I live by, "a positive lie is truer than a negative truth." This tradition of mine will shine through every element ouf our work together.
