Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have over a 10 years of experience working in the eating disorders field. As a provider, I am extremely compassionate and understanding. I help individuals create a tailored plan and encourage them to stick to it in order to see measurable changes.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working individuals struggling with disordered eating and eating disorders. There is so much societal pressure to look a certain way, which can often lead to body dissatisfaction and disordered eating. My clients are often struggling with their relationship with food and their body and are looking to make changes, but need support and accountability to make these changes.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience with cognitive-behavioral therapy for treating a variety of presenting concerns, including eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. While working together, we will utilize CBT in both a structured and collaborative way. CBT skills help empower clients to challenge their negative thought patterns and develop healthier behaviors. I tailor my interventions to the individual needs of each client, ensuring that the process is flexible and responsive to their progress.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a structured approach that balances acceptance and change, providing clients with practical skills to manage their emotions and relationships effectively. I tailor my interventions to the individual needs of each client, ensuring a supportive and validating environment throughout the therapeutic process. I have 5+ years of experience in working with patients using DBT.
