Hello and Welcome! I’m Chyrissée and I am so glad you are here. I Believe...Life presents many challenges to our ability to stay balanced and centered in our day-to-day existence. During difficult times, additional support can offer the breathing room we need to help us make sense of our circumstances. The process of therapy and the journey of self-discovery in a supportive environment can help untangle confusing thoughts, feelings, and behavioral patterns that seem to be keeping you stuck. Whether you have feelings of depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, or a challenging life transition, I want to support you every step of the way. Maya Angelou once said, “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” During our sessions, I will meet you with compassion, kindness and make it a point to provide you with a safe place to process, ask questions and grow. I make space for each of my clients to recognize their unique individuality and aim to support and facilitate growth and resiliency. Let's get started!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I have a deep respect for the courage it takes to begin this process. Whether you are a new client or an existing one, the true work of therapy begins when our session ends. You deserve to be happy so you have to remember to prioritize your mental health. I encourage this prioritization of mental health by providing simple but effective home work tasks to reinforce what you have learned in session.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize a multitude of evidence-based psychotherapy approaches with my clients to include; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Client Centered Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy, The Whole Self-Approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit is very effective with my teenage population. I also integrate Mindfulness, Art Therapy, and Movement Therapy including the practice of Yoga to help you develop a stronger relationship with oneself.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Wellness Counselor and Motivational Coach, I have dedicated myself to supporting our country’s young people and their families not only educationally but also emotionally and mentally. The passion I have for youth makes me a favorite among my clients, students, parents, and community. I look forward to working with you.
