New to Grow
"Growth occurs when individuals confront problems, struggle to master them, and through that struggle develop new aspects of their skills, capacities, views about life." -Carl Rogers. People seek therapy for many reasons. For instance, you may be looking for a place to process stressful events or address relationship problems. You may be yearning to interrupt your unhelpful patterns and ways of getting stuck, in order to find a life forward direction. Therapy is your time to focus on yourself and it is my goal to accompany you on your journey to growth in the most helpful and constructive way possible. My goal is to cultivate a judgement free safe space where important dialogue about healthy mental health and emotional health can be had.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first mental health session will be an intake, primarily an information-gathering "icebreaker" focused on your history, symptoms, and goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, strength-based, respectful and empowering. I draw from a combination of various therapy modalities, tailored to your individual desires and goals.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with children, and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment difficulties, relationship issues and a number of other stressors and concerns that individuals may face. I offer in person and telehealth sessions.
