**Individual Therapy for adults aged 30+ and seniors.*** Are you feeling overwhelmed and lost? Have you been struggling to find comfort and meaning in your life? When you’re navigating career decisions, health and lifestyle changes, relationships, or parenthood, you may feel stressed out and unsure as you attempt to define who you are and what you want out of life. At times, you’re confident about your decisions and proud of yourself for taking action. At other times, your self-esteem feels fragile, and you’re certain you’re making all the wrong decisions. Life transitions may bring anticipation and excitement for the future or trigger sadness, anxiety, and fear. I help my clients process and integrate feelings during uncertain times so moving forward with a sense of peace and purpose becomes possible. Together, we’ll practice healthy coping skills so you have resources to turn to outside of sessions to support your well-being. As a first generation Hispanic American you may undergo difficulty navigating the cultural expectations and norms of the Hispanic heritage while assimilating into American culture and balancing family expectations with personal desires. As a licensed clinical psychologist who was born in NJ and raised in South Florida of Hispanic descent, I focus on providing individual psychotherapy to women aged 30 and older.
Our first session will include a clinical intake, where you'll have the opportunity to share the reasons for your visit, any aspects of your story you're comfortable discussing, and the symptoms you're currently experiencing.
My treatment approach utilizes evidence-based interventions, including cognitive restructuring, psychoeducation, mindfulness techniques, humanistic supportive reflection, and targeted symptom management strategies.
My strengths as a clinician include warmth, empathy, humor, understanding, and patience.
I specialize in working with women, adults, and older adults, providing tailored support to address their unique psychological and emotional needs.
