I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I provide medication management treatment for people ages 13 and older who struggle with a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, and others. I have been a registered nurse for 30 years and a psychiatric specialized nurse for 15 years. I completed my advanced psychiatric nursing training at Rutgers University and my undergraduate nursing training at New York University. I am originally from New York and have been living and practicing in Florida since 2014.
I strive to help my patients get relief from their symptoms so they can live life to the fullest.
During our visits, we will discuss your progress and concerns. I encourage my patients to ask questions. I want you to always feel comfortable with your treatment. Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) for substance use disorders is available where medically indicated. These include Vivitrol, Suboxone and Sublocade.
My approach is client-centered and holistic using the biopsychosocial model. You and I will be partners in working toward your best mental health. I consider myself to be an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.
