Laura Bianchini is a licensed independent clinical counselor specializing in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, parenting, couples counseling, divorce, dating conflict and concerns, stress management, self-esteem, and body image issues. Laura's areas of interest are couples counseling, women's issue, wellness, health and lifestyle enhancement, family dynamics, and adjustment disorders. Laura has been a therapist for over 17 years and has a background and years of experience in the health and fitness field including personal training, yoga and weight training.
My first session would be gathering information and getting to know the client and have them share what they comfortable sharing during our first session. I would provide a safe space so that we could begin our therapeutic relationship knowing that I will provide an open non judgmental environment and atmosphere.
I am well traveled, open minded and have much life experience and have a good sense of humor. I love working with all types of people and and am very positive.
I am able to counsel most clients with situational anxiety and depression that could include, couples counseling, marital issues, work/balance issues, coping skills, identifying goals, processing grief, dating concerns, career counseling, fitness goals and many life overall issues. I am a personal trainer, fitness instructor, yoga teacher as well as a therapist and can provide direction to clients that can benefit from exercise and mindfulness practices to help alleviate anxiety and depression.
