LMHC, 8 years of experience
I hold master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Project Management, and I’m certified as an ADHD specialist. I also support individuals dealing with concerns like anxiety and bipolar disorder. I work with young adults and adults, helping them cultivate essential skills, strengthen interpersonal effectiveness, and navigate distress with greater resilience. My experience spans a variety of settings, including residential programs, academic environments, in-home support, and outpatient care.
In our first session together, we will begin by building rapport and reviewing the areas you would like to develop. This process can be organic where information gathering is not so structured or more traditional where a list of questions is used.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist lies in my ability to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. I bring curiosity and compassion to every session, helping clients explore their inner world at a pace that feels safe and empowering. I’m attuned to subtle shifts in mood or emotion, and use that insight to guide our work with intention. My flexibility allows me to tailor approaches to meet each person’s unique needs—whether we’re working on building coping strategies, improving relationships, or deepening self-understanding. Above all, I bring a strong sense of commitment to walking alongside my clients as they grow, heal, and discover their own resilience.
An ideal client is someone ready to engage in the therapeutic process with openness and curiosity. They may not have all the answers—or even know exactly where to start—but they’re willing to explore their thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a safe, supportive environment. This client values collaboration, shows a willingness to reflect and grow, and understands that progress isn’t always linear.
Behavioral techniques are incorporated into our work. This helps us get to the root cause of the presented concern(s) and has proven to be an effective modality.
