About
I’m passionate about supporting adults navigating life with anxiety, depression, chronic illness, disability, complex family dynamics, grief, and life transitions. I also work a lot with clients who are neurodivergent or part of the LGBTQ+ community. I know how important it is to feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I combine personal life experiences with evidence based strategies to help you achieve your treatment goals.
First session
While our work is always guided by your needs, I often incorporate tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help build skills for managing emotions, stress, and everyday challenges. My style is collaborative and I strive to create a space where you can be your full self.
Strengths
I bring compassion and understanding to create room for you and your unique experiences in session.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone exploring a new chapter of life, whether that be a new health diagnosis or a deeper exploration of their identity. I strive to help people in ongoing acceptance of their authentic selves while imagining what the future can look like. I welcome clients of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities. Together we can work on holding space for struggles while also looking ahead.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
We'll use CBT to examine how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact. We'll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, helping you lead a more relaxed, less stressful life.
