I know how important it is to feel safe, understood, and not rushed when you’re talking about difficult or painful experiences. I’m a thoughtful, down-to-earth therapist who values authenticity, trust, and genuine connection. My strengths-based approach is grounded in compassion and respect, and I aim to meet each person exactly where they are without judgment. I work with adults, college students, and older adults who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, grief, traumatic experiences, relationship concerns, and recovery maintenance from addiction. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood while we work together toward meaningful, lasting change. With more than 16 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’ve supported people through some of life’s most difficult moments. I draw on evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), always tailoring counseling to your individual needs.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Counseling with me is a space where we slow things down enough to notice what’s happening beneath the surface. I provide a steady, supportive space where we can make sense of what you’re experiencing and explore what may be keeping you stuck. We start where you are. I believe counseling works best when it feels both emotionally attuned, holistic, culturally sensitive, and practical. I pay close attention to what is said—and what is not said—and we’ll work together to make sense of your experience in a way that feels manageable and meaningful. My goal is to help you feel more grounded and understood while also developing clarity about what is contributing to these patterns and what you need to move forward. Alongside that deeper work, we focus on tools you can use in your daily life to begin feeling more empowered, supported, and in control.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling understood, not judged, challenged in a caring way, and equipped with practical tools you can use in your daily life. In addition to my clinical work, I teach at the college level, which has given me a deeper understanding of the unique pressures faced by students, professionals, and adults balancing multiple responsibilities.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life changes begin to take over. You may feel stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to move forward. Whether you’re struggling with long-standing patterns or facing a recent challenge, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I support people in moving through difficult transitions and emotional pain toward stability and healing. I work best with: -Adults experiencing anxiety or depression -College students or young adults navigating stress and life transitions -Adults processing grief and loss -People healing from trauma -Individuals in recovery from addiction -Adults working through relationship challenges
