(she/her)
I believe that the most important component of successful therapy is the trust and connection between the client and his or her therapist. It is my intention to build a trusting relationship and to embark on a collaborative journey with each client. My passion is working with people to help them overcome obstacles, to enable them to reach and maintain goals to live a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life. I am an empathetic listener, compassionate and sincere in my desire to be of service by creating a safe environment for clients to explore ideas, to create goals and to practice new techniques. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful.
Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they feel truly seen and heard. My style is collaborative and grounded in authenticity—I show up as my genuine self and invite you to do the same. I balance compassion with gentle honesty, helping you gain insight while also building practical tools for change. Together, we will move at a pace that feels right for you, creating a space that is both safe and growth-oriented.
My superpower is my genuine passion for being of service and supporting clients as they work toward accomplishing their goals. I tailor my approach using a variety of evidence-based methods to meet each client’s unique needs, drawing from different modalities to support growth and healing. Whether working with individuals or couples, I focus on helping clients build insight, strengthen skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives and relationships.
I work with adults who want to improve their quality of life by exploring the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that keep them feeling stuck. Together, we identify patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools to support meaningful and lasting change. I also work with couples who want to strengthen and improve their relationship. Together, we focus on enhancing communication, deepening emotional connection, and building healthier, more supportive patterns.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which uses gentle back-and-forth movements like eye movements or tapping to help your brain process difficult memories. This helps reduce the strong emotions attached to painful memories so they feel less overwhelming.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use Person-Centered Therapy by creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard and understood. Through empathy, genuineness, and acceptance, I help you explore your experiences and move toward growth in a way that feels authentic to you.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients understand and reshape the emotional patterns that drive their relationships and interactions. By strengthening emotional awareness and connection, I support clients in building more secure, responsive, and fulfilling bonds with others.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that influence their emotions and behaviors. Together, we develop practical strategies to reframe thinking, build coping skills, and create lasting, positive change.
Gottman method
I use the Gottman Method to help couples strengthen their relationship by improving communication, deepening friendship, and managing conflict more effectively. Drawing on research-based tools, I guide partners in building trust, increasing emotional connection, and creating shared meaning together.
