Hi, I’m Crystal Lane. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in women’s mental health. I’m grateful for the calling to walk alongside women as they navigate the complexities of their emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being. My approach is thoughtful and holistic—I look beyond symptoms to understand the whole person, honoring each woman’s story, values, and lived experiences. Whether you desire faith to be part of your care, are simply curious, or prefer a more traditional approach, I meet you where you are. I strive to create a warm, steady, and supportive space where women can explore the deeper roots beneath their struggles, build resilience, and step into a healthier, more grounded version of themselves.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me is relaxed, unrushed, and centered on getting to know each other. We take time to talk about what brought you in, your story, and what you’re hoping to feel or experience differently. I gather your medical and psychiatric history, but in a way that feels conversational—not clinical or overwhelming. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out, and absolutely no judgment. My goal is to create a safe space where you can breathe, settle in, and begin sharing at your own pace. This appointment lays the groundwork for a collaborative, compassionate partnership built on trust and understanding.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of the strengths I bring to my work is knowing when not to prescribe. Medication can be incredibly helpful, but it isn’t always the first or only step. I believe in “a skill before a pill”—teaching tools, strengthening coping strategies, and exploring the root of what you’re experiencing before moving toward medication unless it’s clearly indicated. When medication is needed, we approach it thoughtfully, collaboratively, and with ongoing support. I also offer longer, more spacious appointments so you don’t feel rushed or reduced to a checklist. This gives us room to explore your story, patterns, relationships, and the “why” beneath your symptoms—because meaningful change requires time, presence, and connection. Practicing with cultural humility is another priority in my work. I understand that every woman’s background, identity, and lived experience shapes her mental health journey. I’m committed to creating a space where you feel seen, honored, and heard—one where I listen first, stay teachable, and welcome your perspectives without assumptions. My role is to understand your world through your lens so we can move forward in a way that feels safe, respectful, and empowering.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m honored to work with adult women, 18 and older, who are ready to lean into the deeper work of healing—not just seeking a prescription, but looking to understand themselves, their patterns, and the roots of their emotional pain. My ideal client is a woman who desires clarity, growth, and meaningful change, even when the process feels uncomfortable. I welcome women from all walks of life—students, professionals, mothers, caregivers, women of faith, women deconstructing faith, and those simply trying to find their way. What matters most is a willingness to show up honestly and a desire to heal beyond the surface. I bring a teachable spirit to this work and strive to practice with humility. I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but I’m committed to being present, listening deeply, and partnering with you as we explore your inner world together. If you’re seeking a grounded, compassionate space to grow, reflect, and rise into the woman you are becoming, you’re in the right place.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I offer the option to integrate Christian counseling into sessions for those who desire it. This approach is always gentle, respectful, and guided by your comfort level. I may incorporate Scripture, prayer, or faith-based reflections to support healing, clarity, and purpose—never to pressure or persuade. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are in your walk with God, whether you’re deeply rooted in your faith, feeling distant, or simply curious. Together, we create space for both clinical insight and spiritual wisdom so your care can feel whole, aligned, and grounded in hope.

Eclectic

I take an eclectic approach to mental health care, drawing from multiple therapeutic styles to create a plan that truly fits you. Instead of relying on one method, I blend evidence-based techniques—such as cognitive, behavioral, mindfulness-based, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed strategies—to support your unique needs and goals. This flexibility allows us to address both the surface symptoms and the deeper patterns shaping your experiences. Together, we tailor each session so your care feels personalized, practical, and aligned with who you are and how you grow best.

Integrative

I use an integrative therapy approach, combining the mind, body, and emotional aspects of your wellbeing to support healing in a holistic way. This means we look beyond symptoms to understand the full context of your story—your relationships, stressors, strengths, faith, environment, and nervous system. I blend psychotherapy, lifestyle support, and thoughtful medication management when appropriate, creating a cohesive plan that honors you as a whole person. With this approach, sessions feel grounded, connected, and intentionally aligned with the life you’re working toward.
