Does it ever feel like you are going through the motions, watching your life from the sidelines instead of actually living it? When things feel out of control, even making small decisions can seem impossible, and it’s hard to just be in the moment. You might find yourself stuck in a loop of overthinking while constantly worrying about what happened yesterday or stressing about what might happen tomorrow. In the end, you feel disconnected from yourself and the people who matter most. As a fellow Christian, I understand the unique intersection of faith and life’s challenges. My mission is to walk alongside you, offering support and tools so that you can flourish whether you are a parent, spouse, student, or young adult. My approach is inspired by evidence based practices as well as Christian values of hope, unconditional worth, and peace, as beautifully captured in Matthew 10. I approach therapy with genuine compassion and a client-centered focus. Whether your faith in Jesus Christ is a cornerstone of your life or you are simply looking for a therapist who respects these values, I offer an integrative, non-judgmental approach.
In our first session together, I am here to listen to your story, work with you on creating a personal goal, and allow that time for us to get to know one another. Receiving counseling services for the first time can sound overwhelming and scary, but I am here to meet you at your own pace.
I truly believe that real change starts when we give ourselves permission to slow down and just be honest about where we are. When we look at our lives and our thoughts with kindness, we can start to see things differently even in the places where we’ve felt stuck. This process is about building a deeper sense of peace and trust within yourself, which naturally makes a difference in everything you do.
I support clients through every stage of adulthood, offering compassionate care tailored to young adults, middle-aged professionals, and retirees alike. Many individuals reach out when they are feeling deeply overwhelmed, physically exhausted, or utterly unheard while navigating significant, complex life transitions. Whether you are wrestling with persistent anxiety, processing profound grief/trauma, managing shifts in your independence, or simply carrying a quiet sense that something isn't right, you are fully welcome here. You do not need to have everything figured out or possess a clear, structured plan before you begin; simply taking the initiative to reach out is the very first, vital step toward finding clarity, healing, and peace.
IFS is a wonderful way to safely get to know oneself in "parts" and create safety across the different parts of ourself that we all hold. I use this method along with body scan, meditation, and grounding practices. IFS can be a powerful tool to better understand some of our most vulnerable and painful past life experiences.
CBT is my favorite method in helping clients better understand some of the internal beliefs or thought patterns that navigate their thinking and action patterns. CBT is a great way to help rewrite our beliefs and understand where they come from.
As a Christian therapist, I believe in incorporating the word of God, prayer, and scientific based methods of therapy. I believe that God wants to walk this journey right a long with you, guide you in your thought and action, and allow you to thrive in life while gaining positive methods of self-care.
Sometimes in life, we need practical methods of overcoming some of our life circumstances. Solution focused treatment allows for clients to meet some of their most immediate needs during their therapy journey while helping to expand on future goals.
