I have helped clients drastically improve their lives through my nonjudgmental approach to therapy. I give clients space to freely express their concerns, while also motivating and helping to steer them toward healthier lives by gaining helpful coping skills and modifying their lifestyles where needed. Many don't realize how making small adjustments can help with sleep, or other aspects of life.
During the first session, I introduce myself and allow my clients to tell me a bit about their background and what they are expecting.
My greatest strengths are that I have worked in many different settings and with diverse populations.
I love working with those who are navigating academic and work and life challenges, or those who are going through life transitions. I also work with those trying to manage anxiety or depression, and gain coping skills. I support clients holistically and those who consider traditional medicine, alternative therapies, or both. I prefer working with adults as well, and on an individual basis.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience in mental health counseling, comprehensive evaluations, utilization management, case management and care coordination, and crisis stabilization. Passionate about using a holistic approach to supporting clients, I offer counseling services focused on building self-esteem, managing stress and depression, navigating academic and work challenges, and creating a safe space for open communication. I have worked with clientele from various populations and in many settings. I have lived in a number of US states and love to travel as well.
