I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) who works with adults navigating anxiety, stress, anger, and life transitions. I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy, combining practical tools with deeper emotional work to help clients create meaningful, lasting change. In our work together, I focus on helping you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns while building skills to feel more grounded and in control. I believe therapy should be both supportive and effective, so I aim to provide a space where you feel heard and understood, while also gaining tools you can use in your daily life. I often work with individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or frustrated with repeating patterns in their relationships or behaviors. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, difficulty managing emotions, or navigating a major life change, I’ll meet you where you are and work with you at a pace that feels right. My goal is to help you build clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of direction so you can move forward in a way that feels more aligned and fulfilling.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll start by getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy. You’ll have space to share your concerns, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’d like to be different in your life. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—this is simply a starting point. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and goals for therapy. We’ll also talk about what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. From there, we’ll begin identifying areas to focus on and what meaningful progress could look like for you. My approach is collaborative, so we’ll work together to create a plan that feels realistic and helpful. I may introduce a few practical tools or strategies you can begin using right away, depending on your needs. Most importantly, my goal in the first session is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. By the end, you should have a clearer sense of how we’ll work together and what to expect moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to balance practical, actionable tools with deeper emotional work. I don’t believe therapy should be only about talking or only about techniques—it should be both. My goal is to help you not only understand what’s going on beneath the surface, but also give you clear strategies you can use in your daily life. I also focus heavily on helping clients feel more in control of their emotions. Whether it’s anxiety, anger, or feeling overwhelmed, I work with you to build awareness, regulate your responses, and develop healthier ways of coping that actually stick. Another strength of my approach is creating a space where clients feel genuinely understood without judgment. At the same time, I’m not a passive therapist—I will gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck and help you move toward meaningful change. Clients often find that our work goes beyond short-term symptom relief. Together, we look at patterns, relationships, and underlying experiences so you can create lasting shifts, not just temporary fixes.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, even when they’ve tried to figure things out on their own. Many of my clients are dealing with anxiety, stress, anger, or life transitions and want more than just temporary relief—they want real, lasting change. My ideal clients are open to exploring both practical tools and deeper emotional patterns. They may be struggling with relationships, self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from themselves, but they’re ready to better understand what’s going on beneath the surface and take steps toward something different. In our work together, we focus on helping you feel more in control of your emotions, build healthier coping strategies, and develop a stronger, more supportive relationship with yourself. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful progress at your own pace.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and behavioral struggles. In my practice, CBT is often paired with behavioral activation and structured goal-setting to help clients build momentum and regain a sense of control in their daily lives. I focus on making CBT practical and applicable, so clients can leave sessions with clear tools they can use immediately.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I integrate mindfulness-based and somatic approaches to help clients regulate their nervous system and become more aware of how stress and emotions show up in the body. This includes grounding techniques, breathwork, and present-moment awareness. I use these methods to support clients in managing anxiety, anger, and overwhelm, while building a stronger sense of internal stability and self-awareness.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I utilize a person-centered approach to create a nonjudgmental, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change, and I work collaboratively with clients to align treatment with their goals, values, and lived experiences.

Trauma Informed Care

I use a trauma-informed approach that recognizes the impact of past experiences on current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my practice, I prioritize creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace without feeling overwhelmed. I integrate practical coping strategies with deeper emotional processing to help clients regulate their nervous system, reduce distress, and build a stronger sense of stability and self-understanding. My goal is to help clients move from simply managing symptoms to experiencing meaningful, lasting healing.
