(she/her)
I am a passionate Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients in both Georgia and Maryland. I have over 25 years of experience as a Professional School Counselor in the State of Georgia and have been a licensed provider in the State of Maryland for the past three years. I enjoy working with a diverse range of educational, personal, and professional concerns, providing counseling services that span a broad spectrum of needs. My approach is grounded in experience, compassion, and a commitment to supporting individuals as they navigate growth, change, and life’s challenges.
My method of therapy is eclectic, because I do not believe there is a one size fits all approach to therapy. I believe in focusing on a personal approach that works best for each of my client’s personality and presenting issue. I meet each client right where they are to assist them in achieving growth, change, and joy in their lives and relationships.
As a therapist my strengths come from 20+ years of experience in the counseling arena. I am an empathetic listener, I hold each client in unconditional regard, and I am respectful of everyone’s individual process.
I work best with adolescents, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, and life transitions. I also support individuals experiencing racial and oppression-based stress, relationship challenges, and difficulties in school or work functioning. I tend to connect well with clients who are open to reflection and collaboration, even when they feel stuck or overwhelmed. My approach blends support with practical strategies, helping clients build insight, improve coping, and make steady, manageable progress toward their goals.
Eclectic
My treatment can be best described as eclectic. No two sessions will ever be the same because they are tailored to fit the exact needs of my clients. I believe in meeting my clients where they are; therefore, a variety of disciplines may be utilized in each session.

The first session is what I call "orientation" to see if it's the right fit and I liked it. I liked what she had to say and how she works. And I'm excited for the next session!

I appreciated how straightforward she was and how comfortable she made me feel as it allowed me to open up right from our first session. She also helped me gain perspective on a situation I had been struggling with.
