Hello! I have worked extensively for over 20 years with youth, families, adults and the elderly in mental health centers, non-profit agencies, medical facilities and through telehealth services. I have helped many people work through emotional struggles such as depression, anxiety, panic, grief, trauma, and stress as well as manage major life changes including major health issues and chronic pain.
I strongly believe in partnering with my clients to bring clarity and understanding to their experiences to help them achieve the best possible outcome.
I prefer using evidenced-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for its effectiveness in reducing symptoms of emotional distress, improving outlook, and helping people regain a sense of control over their lives.
I believe clients want to get better as soon as possible so my goal in the first 10 sessions is to introduce specific tools and skills that have been proven to be effective for improving symptoms of depression, anxiety, panic, bi-polar, grief and trauma within a matter of weeks.
