New to Grow
Hey y’all—I’m glad you’re here. I know reaching out for support can feel intimidating, and I’m honored you’re taking this step. I’ve been practicing as a therapist in the Metro Atlanta area since 2018 and have had the opportunity to work with individuals and couples across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and life experiences. People come to therapy for many different reasons, and there’s no “right” or “wrong” place to start. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, offering a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can sit with both the comfortable and uncomfortable moments together. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and fits your unique needs, drawing from CBT, narrative therapy, solution-focused, strengths-based, and family systems frameworks. Common areas I support clients with include anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+ concerns, childhood and current trauma, grief, mood and personality disorders, relationship challenges, and more. If you have questions about anything you see here—or something you don’t—please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d be happy to connect.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In the first session we will get to know each other, ask as many questions as you have but also we will begin to jump into goal setting. I use a gentle yet direct approach giving feedback and encouragement with sincerity and kindness. Whatever pace feels safe for you, is the speed in which we will move forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Lets evaluate value systems and boundaries, coupled with assertive communication skills to empower and embolden you to reach your mental health goals. Whatever your path, I am looking forward to meeting you where you are to stand by your side (virtually) to reach your goals. I place a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship to ensure you are feeling heard, understood, and validated.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I love supporting through life challenges as well as the painful life circumstances. Whether you are looking for support with self-esteem, life transitions, family/relationship challenges, LGBTQIA+, identity, or anxiety/panic, let's chat and see if we are a good fit! Wether your goals are short term or more long term, we will cover coping skills and work to end negative cycles.
Narrative
I like to combine Narrative techniques with TF-CBT and a person centered approach to teach coping skills and to process and navigate life's challenges. I want to equip you with skills for the future.
