I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and everyday stressors. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. Together, we will identify your goals, build practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful changes that support your emotional well-being and overall quality of life.
During our first session, my priority is creating a comfortable, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself. We will spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, and identifying the concerns and goals that are most important to you. You will have the opportunity to share at your own pace, ask questions, and talk about what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we will begin developing a treatment plan that reflects your individual needs and goals.
My approach stands out because I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and personalized to you. I combine compassion and active listening with evidence-based strategies that help you better understand your emotions, recognize patterns, develop healthy coping skills, and navigate life's challenges. I meet you where you are without judgment while also encouraging growth and meaningful change. My goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling heard, empowered, and equipped with tools you can use in your everyday life.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore how they may be affecting your daily life, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to challenges. I incorporate practical coping strategies and problem-solving skills that you can use outside of therapy to manage anxiety, depression, stress, and difficult life situations. My approach is collaborative, allowing us to work together toward meaningful and achievable goals.
I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and motivation for making meaningful changes in their lives. Rather than telling you what you should do, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we can explore your goals, identify barriers to change, and build upon your existing strengths. Together, we work through uncertainty, increase confidence, and identify realistic steps that align with your personal values and the changes you want to make.
I use grief therapy to provide a compassionate and supportive space for clients to process the emotions and life changes that can accompany loss. I understand that grief is a unique experience and does not follow a specific timeline. Together, we explore feelings related to the loss, identify healthy ways to cope, and work through changes in identity, relationships, and daily life. My goal is not to help you "get over" your loss, but to help you learn how to move forward while honoring your experiences, memories, and emotions.
I use a humanistic approach to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe each person has unique strengths and the ability to grow and create meaningful change in their life. During our sessions, I meet you where you are, encourage self-exploration and self-awareness, and help you identify your personal values, strengths, and goals. My role is to support and empower you as you work toward greater emotional well-being and becoming the version of yourself you want to be.
I use Narrative Therapy to help clients explore the stories they have developed about themselves and their experiences and understand how those stories may influence their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work to separate you from the problems you are experiencing, identify personal strengths and resilience, and challenge narratives that may no longer serve you. My goal is to help you develop a more empowering perspective that reflects your values, strengths, experiences, and the direction you want your life to take.
