Hello! I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Georgia, specializing in helping adults navigate various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and grief disorders. With a Master's degree from Walden University and two years of clinical experience, I provide medication management and psychotherapy tailored to each individual's needs. My goal is to empower my clients to lead healthy and productive lives by equipping them with the tools and support they need to manage their mental health effectively.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will begin with brief introductions to get to know each other better. I'll then take some time to gather information about your personal history, including any past mental health concerns and relevant life experiences, as well as the specific issues you're facing at this time. This will help me understand your unique situation and identify your needs. Together, we will collaboratively develop a treatment plan tailored to your goals and preferences. Based on our discussions, this plan may include options such as medication management, psychotherapy, or other therapeutic approaches. My aim is to ensure that you feel comfortable and supported as we embark on this journey toward improving your mental health and well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked in a rural area, I have had the privilege of supporting adult clients of all ages who present with a diverse range of mental health issues. My approach to care is deeply client-centered; I place a strong emphasis on being an attentive listener and providing my clients with the space to express their concerns and experiences openly. I believe in the importance of collaboration in treatment planning, and I encourage my clients to take an active role in the process. By involving them in decision-making, we can create a treatment plan that aligns with their values and goals, fostering greater engagement and compliance. This collaborative effort empowers my clients and enhances the therapeutic relationship, leading to more effective outcomes in their mental health journey.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, including Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, and Grief Disorders. I focus on providing compassionate, individualized care that combines evidence-based interventions with a supportive therapeutic environment. I aim to empower my clients to develop coping skills, achieve their mental health goals, and enhance their overall quality of life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

A fundamental aspect of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is helping clients recognize unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. I can guide clients through this process, helping them identify changeable patterns and practice new behaviors in their daily lives.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a specialized form of cognitive-behavioral therapy designed to help individuals manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and develop effective coping strategies. One of the core principles of DBT is helping clients accept their current realities while simultaneously fostering change in their lives and behaviors
