Ideal clients
There’s no such thing as an “ideal client,” because everyone comes into therapy with different experiences, personalities, and goals. If I had to describe the type of client I enjoy working with, it would be someone who is willing to put in the effort to better understand themselves, build self-awareness, and take steps toward making meaningful changes in their life. You don’t have to have everything figured out you just have to be willing to take that first step.
Treatment methods
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use a person-centered approach to keep therapy casual and comfortable rather than overly formal. Before you know it, you may find yourself opening up about the heavier things and actually getting to work on them.
