New to Grow
You know yourself better than anyone else, yet there may be moments when your reactions don’t make sense. You tell yourself you’ll stop overthinking, people-pleasing, or being so hard on yourself, but something keeps pulling you back to familiar patterns. I believe those patterns aren’t random—and they aren’t flaws. They developed for a reason. Together, we’ll slow things down, understand what those responses have been trying to protect, and help you move toward a life that’s guided by choice instead of survival. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. You don’t have to show up with the right words or a perfectly organized story—just come as you are, and we’ll figure it out together.
The first session is about getting to know you—not just the challenges that brought you to therapy. There’s no pressure to have your thoughts organized or know exactly where to begin. We’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you, what you’d like to be different, and what you’re hoping to get from therapy. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of where we’ll go together.
I bring a calm, collaborative approach to therapy and naturally look beyond the surface of a problem. Rather than rushing to solutions, I help clients untangle the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that keep them feeling stuck. As those pieces begin to fit together, change often feels more natural and lasting.
You may be a good fit for my practice if you’re tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns but aren’t sure how to change them. You might overthink, people-please, avoid conflict, or be your own toughest critic. Even if you know what you’d like to do differently, something keeps getting in the way. If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, curiosity, and compassion while helping you understand yourself on a deeper level, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may seem confusing or frustrating. Instead of judging these experiences or trying to get rid of them, we’ll explore how they may have developed to protect you. As you better understand yourself, you’ll be able to respond with greater compassion, confidence, and intention.
Our relationships have a powerful impact on how we see ourselves and navigate the world. I use an interpersonal approach to help you improve communication, set healthier boundaries, navigate relationship challenges, and strengthen the connections that matter most to you.
I believe you are more than the challenges that brought you to therapy. Together, we’ll identify the strengths, resilience, and values you already have while building new skills and insights to help you navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.
Therapy should feel like a place where you can show up honestly without worrying about being judged or having everything figured out. I provide a supportive, compassionate space where we’ll work together to help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
