Hi, I am licensed clinical social worker and I have three years of experience, in providing outpatient therapy. I am very passionate about helping others be the best version of themselves. With dedication and purpose, I support clients by displaying empathy, being supportive, exploratory, strengths based, a problem solver, and solution focused. I have helped clients which experience symptoms of depression, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, life transitions/adjustments, relationship concerns and those experiencing grief.
The initial session is designated to gain information and learn "all about you". We will both use this time for me to get to know you and set goals you want to achieve within therapy.
I feel that I have the ability to support you in being within a more "improved" state. I feel I have the ability to explore with you and support you in gaining insight into yourself to address your problem(s). I want my client to thrive within their life and I am dedicated to help you do just that.
I feel it is beneficial for me, while working with clients, to take time to highlight a client's strengths and also support them to build on those strengths. I have found that many individuals neglect to view appreciation for themselves and notice areas of growth/progress. I think it is important to see areas where we should improve, but also think just as important to view areas of strengths and growth. By doing this, I trust that it will support the client in developing increased confidence/self-esteem, while also having a more balance view of oneself.
