I like to use a gentle, caring, non-judgmental and creative approach utilizing modalities such as ACT, CBT, EMDR, ART and therapeutic art. My office is in Neptune Beach, FL. I see individuals, couples and families. I got into counseling because I love to listen! It was second nature to me, growing up. I also delved into the works of Carl Jung as a teen, and never looked back. Images, metaphors, archetypes and dreams all inform my practice; they help us process and resolve questions.

EMDR
I am certified in EMDR and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and interweave them with other methods to help clients address and resolve underlying causes and symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, negative self-beliefs and addiction issues. I also use ACT, CBT and therapeutic art.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate breathing, visualization, relaxation, body awareness and tapping techniques for clients to learn for regulation during and outside of sessions.

Amy has a calm and kind approach that immediately made me feel at ease. She wasn’t pushy but at the same time was clearly interested in getting to work, which I really appreciated. I didn’t have any prior experience with ART/eye movement therapy but Amy explained everything perfectly and guided the session very effectively. Our first session far exceeded all of my expectations. Remarkable.
