New to Grow
I believe therapy should feel like a genuine human connection, not a clinical or one-sided experience. My approach is warm, approachable, and collaborative, creating a space where clients can show up exactly as they are. I bring my authentic self into the therapy room, I value humor part of the healing process, and believe meaningful change happens through trust, honesty, and real connection. My style is modern, client-centered, and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. Rather than telling clients what they should do, I work alongside them to better understand their experiences, build on their strengths, and create lasting change.
Your first session is all about you. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what's been going on in your life, and what you're hoping to gain from our work together. I'll ask questions to get to know you and your history, but in a relaxed, conversational way. Most importantly, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the very beginning.
My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to connect authentically, create a safe and supportive environment, and help clients feel seen and understood. I bring compassion, humor, and a genuine human approach. My clients often say that they love that I am a real person, and it makes them feel comfortable being real, as well.
I work best with adults who are ready to better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and create meaningful change. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, relationship concerns, past experiences, life transitions, or feeling stuck, I offer a supportive space to explore what’s holding you back and move toward what matters most. Drawing from EMDR, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused therapies, I combine evidence-based approaches with compassion, humor, and genuine human connection to help clients feel understood, empowered, and hopeful.
Other specialties
I identify as
EMDR
EMDR helps clients process distressing memories. During a session, the therapist guides the client in briefly focusing on a troubling memory while using bilateral stimulation—such as eye movements, tapping, or alternating sounds—to help the brain reprocess the experience and reduce its emotional intensity.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Therapy helps clients identify strengths, clarify goals, and create practical steps toward positive change by focusing on solutions rather than problems.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Person-Centered Therapy is a collaborative, non-directive approach that emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. The therapist creates a supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, gain self-awareness, and move toward personal growth and meaningful change.
