In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, discuss the expectations of the therapeutic process, along with its risks and benefits, and then dive into the specific challenges that brought you to seek help. Lastly, we will work together to create an individualized plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with adults, youth, and children for the past 19 years, I offer a dynamic approach that will explore your unique life experiences and uncover insights that will empower you to cultivate healthier patterns of communication and relationships.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My experience in community mental health has given me a passion for helping those who have experienced anxiety, depression, trauma, and abuse. My clients often begin therapy overwhelmed or anxious about the course of their lives but are ready to make changes to cope and then thrive.

My treatment methods

Compassion Focused

Therapy is a very personal process that requires compassion and support. In therapy, we will ask ourselves difficult questions, reflecting on our truth, meaning, feelings, and actions while we create pathways for change. I create a space built on trust that will allow for reflection, accountability, and hope. I work with individuals from all genders, ethnicities, and religious affiliations.

Existential

Existential theory has been the core of my clinical practice. In therapy, we will utilize Existentialism to highlight personal empowerment and promote choice, change, and acceptance.

I loved how comfortable she made me and my wife feel to answer some tough questions. We loved her perspective and experience from working directly with other families dealing with addiction/substance abuse. It was great to know that there are immediate actions I could take to deal with my issues in a more positive way. Her willingness to go above and beyond for our healing process is noted and very appreciated.
