New to Grow
Prior to becoming a licensed mental health counselor, I have 24 years of experience as a para-professional providing crisis response services to First Responders while performing my duties as a 28 year career law enforcement officer. Upon my retirement from law enforcement, I have worked with a multitude of clients and a wide variety of diagnoses including traumatic experiences. I bring professional, personal and educational experience to my clinical practice.
Using an integrative approach, therapy is tailored to best serve your specific needs. I take a direct approach to therapy and provides supportive guidance with warmth and humor.
I bring considerable life experience to my practice from a personal and professional perspective. These experiences allow me to better understand my client's struggles and provide therapy that is compassionate and productive.
I work with those dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, coping, and existential/quality-of-life concerns. I offer solutions and hope for restoring joy and resolving these issues.
