Hi, welcome! It's cool that you're here, and I'm excited for us to possibly work together. I know getting started can feel tough and weird, and I do my best to alleviate that as much as I can. I am personable, honest, and curious. I work hard to understand what you're looking for and to make sure our sessions feel meaningful and worthwhile to you.
We’ll chat about what brought you here and get to know each other a bit! If I seem like a good fit for you, we'll start to figure out what you want our time to look like moving forward. There is truly no pressure to keep working together - you can always continue your search if that feels best for you.
My biggest focus is to build a relationship with you that feels safe, inviting, trusting, and genuine. The goal is for you to feel that you can share anything, and to know that no matter what it is, you will be met with care and understanding. I am cool, calm, and collected - nothing you say will scare me, shake me, or turn me away! There is always a way for us to work through it. I truly believe we’re a team, and I will check in regularly to make sure that what we're doing is a good fit for you. You choose what we talk about, focus on, and work towards in our time together, and that can change at any time.
Most of my work has been with kids, teens, and young adults - y’all hold a special place in my heart! I work primarily with those who’ve been impacted by the child welfare and/or legal systems, and who have experienced abuse, grief, loss, family separation, difficult family relationships, and other hurtful experiences. I'm here to listen, help you make sense of what you're going through, and find ways for you to deal with all that life has thrown at you.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy
I want to learn how you experience the world and how you hold each piece of who you are. I will be curious, compassionate, and respect of all the ways that you have (and have not) become you.
Integrative
We'll talk about your goals and how we can best work towards them together.
Experiential Therapy
If you are interested in art, music, performance, movement, play, etc, we can find ways to use these in session!
Trauma Informed Care
I will hold a space where you can feel safe to share difficult experiences and how they have influenced you. No matter what you’ve been through or how tough things are, I will always believe in your ability to have a good life.
