Hello! I am a double board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse practitioner based in Florida. I see patients both in Florida and New York state. I received my Masters from Barry University and Wilkes University. I have been practicing for 15 years. I help young adults and adults struggling with depression and anxiety. In our first session together, we'll start with a brief introduction, then talk about the specific challenges the client is facing. We will then create a tailored plan in order to work through and accomplish the desired goal.
In my years of experience active listening is one of my best tools in order to began to understand my clients. Helping the patient is important to reach a remission state and eventually return to their baseline level of functioning.

CBT is the most effective treatment method when treating patients who are suffering from depression and anxiety in conjunction with medication management. In my practice it is used to modify thought patterns to change mood and behavior.
