I am a licensed therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, overthinking, burnout, and life transitions, as well as the feeling of being overwhelmed even when life appears “put together” on the outside. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning and capable, but internally struggle with stress, self-doubt, people-pleasing, and difficulty setting boundaries. In our work together, I provide a supportive and collaborative space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and person-centered therapy to help you build practical coping skills while also exploring deeper patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm. My goal is to help you feel more calm, clear, and confident as you navigate daily life, relationships, and internal pressure.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable—there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll explore the challenges you’ve been experiencing, whether that’s anxiety, overthinking, stress, burnout, or life transitions, and begin identifying what feels most important for us to focus on. I may ask questions about your current situation, past experiences, and goals for therapy to better understand how I can support you. We’ll also talk about what you hope to get out of therapy and what change might look like for you. By the end of the session, you’ll have a sense of how we might work together and what the next steps could look like. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clearer about the direction of our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my strengths as a therapist is helping you uncover what’s actually driving your anxiety, overthinking, or burnout—so you can start seeing real shifts, not just insight without change. Many of the people I work with are used to pushing through, staying productive, and holding it together on the outside—even when things feel overwhelming internally. You might put a lot of pressure on yourself, struggle to slow your mind down, or find it hard to step back from responsibilities or expectations. Your mind may keep going long after the day ends—replaying conversations, anticipating what’s next, or making it hard to fully relax. In our work together, we focus on finding a more sustainable way forward—one that doesn’t rely on constant pressure, perfectionism, or mental overdrive. I balance insight with practical tools. We’ll look at patterns, understand where they come from, and develop clear, realistic strategies you can use in your daily life. The goal is for you to feel more clear-headed and in control—not just during sessions, but in the moments that actually matter. I’m also direct in a thoughtful and supportive way. I’ll help you notice patterns you may not be seeing—especially around anxiety, self-criticism, and relationship dynamics—and gently challenge what’s keeping you stuck. This often helps clients move out of autopilot and start making more intentional choices. Clients often share that therapy with me feels both supportive and focused—where they feel understood, but also challenged in ways that lead to meaningful, lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals who may look like they have it all together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck on the inside. You might find yourself overthinking, dealing with constant stress, struggling with burnout, or having a hard time setting boundaries and prioritizing your own needs. In our work together, we’ll explore these patterns and build practical tools to help you feel more calm, confident, and in control of your daily life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help with anxiety, burnout, and overthinking, including anxiety that can show up as appearing calm and capable on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, self-doubt, or constant mental pressure internally. Together, we’ll identify patterns like self-criticism, worst-case thinking, people-pleasing, and chronic stress, and work on shifting them into more balanced and supportive ways of thinking. This process includes building practical coping skills, strengthening emotional regulation, improving boundary-setting, and developing strategies to better manage burnout and day-to-day overwhelm. The goal is to help you feel more steady, clear-headed, and able to handle daily life with greater ease and confidence.

Psychodynamic

I use a psychodynamic approach to help you understand the deeper patterns behind anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, and self-esteem challenges. Together, we explore how past experiences and relationships may be shaping how you feel and respond today. This helps you build self-awareness, feel less reactive, and create more meaningful, lasting change.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I take a person-centered approach to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I tailor our work to meet your needs—whether you’re looking for more structure and guidance, space to process and reflect, or a combination of both. Together, we build self-awareness, confidence, and clarity so you can navigate anxiety, life transitions, relationships, and everyday stress in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
