New to Grow
Hi! I have been in the field for 4 years now. I love working with people who are experiencing life transitions and have a desire to get to know themselves on a deeper level. I provide a non-judgmental space and approach each session with curiosity and authenticity. I show up with deep empathy and compassion for my clients, and I believe one of the most important aspects in this work is to build trust.
In our first session together, we will explore your history gently and discover what your goals for therapy are. I will ask questions about your life and your family history, and anything else that you feel is important for me to know. Sessions are an hour and should allow plenty of time for any questions you have for me. At the end of this session, we can decide if working together is the best fit, and we can schedule the next few sessions. I offer weekly or bi-weekly sessions via Telehealth.
Over the years, I've heard from my clients, "I finally feel safe enough to open up". I approach our therapeutic relationship with an open heart and an open mind. Our work together will proceed at your pace so that you feel comfortable and ready each step of the way. This natural unfolding allows you to stay connected to yourself and the wisdom of your body and mind. I often use EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as a way to process past and present disturbing events. Clients have expressed relief from flashbacks, overthinking, negative self-talk, and anxiety symptoms.
I work with clients 18+ experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, life changes/transitions, interpersonal difficulties, grief, and relationship issues. Clients who are ready and willing to show up for themselves and allow space for self-compassion, mindfulness, and support. Clients who are curious and open to learning about themselves and are willing to discover and transform old patterns of behavior and thought processes through ongoing self-inquiry.
