LPC, 9 years of experience
Hi there! I'm Nicole and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for the State of Georgia and I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) as well. I graduated from Brenau University with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and have been working in the field for almost a decade. I work with adults struggling with trauma, postpartum, infertility/pregnancy loss, anxiety and depression.
During our first session together, I will ask LOTS of questions. I like to get a deep and comprehensive understanding of who you are so that I can tailor a treatment plan that is individualized to you. We will work to discuss therapeutic goals during our time together and what healing looks like to you.
Having worked with this population for almost a decade, I have the ability to draw upon multiple therapeutic modalities in order to individualize your therapeutic experience. Additionally, after experiencing my own pregnancy loss and infertility issues, I know how to navigate this emotionally charged-environment personally and professionally.
I enjoy working with clients who have experienced trauma, pregnancy loss, infertility, or any form of anxiety and depression. Oftentimes, my clients “didn’t picture” their lives turning out this way and struggle with rediscovering who they are after a traumatic event or loss. These experiences can create deep feelings of inadequacy, isolation, guilt, and shame. In our work together, I provide a safe and compassionate space where you don’t have to carry those feelings alone. I help clients process their pain, rebuild their sense of identity, and discover new ways to find hope and meaning. Healing is not about erasing the past—it’s about learning how to integrate your experiences, regain your strength, and create a life that feels fulfilling again. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the future, therapy can offer you the tools and support you need to move forward. You deserve to feel seen, understood, and empowered on your journey toward healing.
I will use CBT therapy to hone in on a client's unhelpful thinking style and to offer cognitive reframing to help the client look at their situation from a different perspective.
I like to use DBT to help with distress tolerance with trauma and anxiety. This modality offers therapeutic practices that help with intense emotions and interpersonal conflict.
I also use Interpersonal Psychotherapy to address a client's interpersonal conflict and to address boundary setting and people pleasing behaviors.

I landed with Nicole somewhat randomly, and I am so glad I did. She is warm and patient, while still being a truth teller. She is able to guide me where i need to go in digging into the next layer. From a person that doesn't trust easily, I am in awe of the safe space she created in such a short amount of time. 10 out of 10 recommend!
