Lexi Dannemiller
Hello and welcome to my practice! You will find that I cover a wide range in psychiatry from mild-moderate anxiety to psychotic disorders. I like to find holistic interventions to help clients feel more resilient and able to manage the ebbs and flows of their life balancing both medication management and adjunctive therapies. My style is warm, friendly, and supportive. I am LGBTQ+ friendly, culturally sensitive and will be curious about your unique perspectives and beliefs. Whether mood disorders have been chronic, lifelong struggles or due to an acute crisis, I take my time to get to know each patient's unique situation and needs to help problem-solve and hold space for every pain, no matter how large or small.

First session
In our first session, I will spend up to an hour gathering background information such as psychiatric treatment history, significant medical history, your background, and relationship to psychiatric care. I take the time to learn your goals, your lifestyle patterns, your relationships, and hobbies. I welcome you to share anything you feel most relevant to help me best understand your unique needs.
Strengths
Clients have described my approach as warm, thoughtful, professional and thorough. They find ease and safety in talking with me, and sharing their vulnerability. I take a humanistic and relational approach, creatively finding evidenced-based interventions to make life more manageable.

Treatment methods
Trauma-Informed Care
Discussing some of the most vulnerable times in your life with a professional requires sensitivity and competent care which is of the utmost importance to me as your provider.
Humanistic
I don't treat my patients as a diagnosis but as a human going through some challenging times. We come up with treatment plans together, and take into account the unique nature of your biology.
Motivational Interviewing
Making changes in our lives requires deep insight into our life goals that has to be intrinsic, I like to help guide people to find their "why."
