I have been a therapist for over 30 years, working with children and adults in various capacities. Through my experience, I have found that therapy is individualized and my process is integrated based on your needs. My goal is to first help you identify what works and what doesn't work in your life, then identify the skills to use when negative thoughts arise.
In our first session, we will get to know each other and identify what you want to work on. At the end of our first session, you will know your treatment goals and how we will address them in sessions. You will then decide if therapy with me is what you want.
Having worked in this field for many years, I recognize the importance of addressing the whole person; mind, body, and mood.
I utilize several different modalities in order to individualize treatment. CBT, CPT, DBT, Mindfulness, Play Therapy, Person Centered are some of the modalities I use.
