Hi, I'm Lucas, and I'm really glad you're here. I have 8 years of experience in addiction and mental health, including directing an Intensive Outpatient Program. In 2023, I graduated from Arizona State University with a Master's Degree in Social Work, and I am now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I primarily work with clients experiencing anxiety, addiction, depression, and ADHD. I'm passionate and engaged; I bring real energy to every session, yes, even through a screen, and I practice what I teach because mental health is something we all work at. I draw on CBT, DBT, trauma-informed practices, biofeedback tools, behavior-change strategies, and research-backed habits that make a real difference in daily life. I work hard to break through the virtual barrier so it feels like we're genuinely in the same space, working together as a team. Expect me to be direct, and don't be surprised if I send you home with "homework." Growth happens in the everyday moments, not just the hour we spend together. My job is simple: help you reconnect with your strengths, build real confidence, and move toward the life you actually want. You're worth that work.
In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where you can talk openly without pressure. You don’t need to have everything figured out, most people don’t. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand what’s been going on for you and what you hope to work toward. I’ll also normalize what you’re experiencing. Seeking support is a healthy and human thing to do, and there’s no “right way” to start therapy. You can show up exactly as you are. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction and what working together can look like, so we can move forward in a way that feels safe, supportive, and manageable for you.
What stands out about my approach is that I show up as a real person. I’m present, engaged, and able to match your energy or bring some of my own when it’s helpful. I work hard to break through the virtual barrier so it feels like we’re genuinely in the same space, working together as a team. My style is collaborative and down-to-earth, but also rooted in solid clinical work. I pull from CBT, DBT, trauma-informed practices, biofeedback tools, behavior change strategies, and research-backed habits that actually make a difference in daily life. I’m straightforward and practical, I teach clear, doable skills you can use outside of therapy, and we build them at a pace that fits you. My goal is to support you, challenge you when needed, and help you create real change while keeping the work grounded, human, and honest.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to grow, not just inside the session but in their everyday life outside of it. I take complex, evidence-based treatment models and translate them into something practical and realistic that we can actually work on together. I want my clients to feel like we are a team. While I am here for traditional talk therapy, I am equally interested in exploring your strengths, your routines, your behaviors, and your lifestyle. We will not only explore your emotions and your past but also look at the full picture of who you are and how you move through the world.

I have extensive experience providing clients with practical, actionable tools grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy. While we’ll work together in session to apply these strategies, I’ll also equip you with clear, concrete techniques you can use independently outside of our sessions.
My approach is integrative and personalized. I combine research-based neuroscience, biofeedback tools, behavior-change strategies, habit-building skills, and a range of therapeutic modalities to meet your unique needs. This is not a one-size-fits-all process. Together, we’ll pull from a variety of evidence-based methods to address the complexities of your challenges and create a plan that truly fits you.
Psychoeducation is a large part of my practice. I believe it is imperative that we both learn together and establish concrete tools that will actually help you in your day-to-day life. I will cover a variety of research-based mental health tools and overall life skills to ensure we can make direct progress in what matters. I am passionate about educating and learning with you.
I take time to truly understand your strengths and the qualities that make you who you are. Through compassion, humor, and a humanistic approach, we’ll work as a team to uncover the strengths that may feel lost or hidden right now. Together, we’ll learn how to bring those abilities forward and apply them in your daily life so you can create meaningful and lasting change.
I take a realistic, action-based approach to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Together, we’ll practice research-supported mindfulness tools and build concrete, achievable habits to support growth in areas like anxiety, depression, communication, relationships, and overall interpersonal effectiveness. I’m genuinely passionate about helping you develop as a person and being an active, supportive part of your team.
