I am a creative and compassionate psychotherapist who works with clients to unlock previously obscured strengths, untapped potential and energy blocked by behavioral patterns, beliefs that no longer work, and the impacts of grief, loss and trauma. Together we will find ways to enhance what is going well in life, understand what is not and move toward the goals that you aim to achieve.
In the first session you can expect to tell me what has brought you to therapy, your story thus far, what you want to change in your life, self and relationships. You can ask me questions about my experience as a therapist to assess if we can have a productive therapeutic process together.
I do my best to meet and understand every person as an individual, to support them in their growth process, and to help them begin to ask the questions they had not previously asked themselves.
I enjoy working with clients who are ready to tackle what they have been avoiding and who also recognize that good things take time, change is usually uncomfortable, and questions can often be more illuminating than answers or quick fixes.

EMDR is an evidence based practice that allows clients to access their own inner strength and begin to shift their perspective, enhancing their capacity to grow from what once caused them harm.
Existential
Everything we struggle with in life is in part due to our way of being in the world, the fact that we must confront our freedom, responsibility, death and the struggle to find meaning in life.
