About me

Welcome! I’m Alicia, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a background in school and community mental health settings. I also hold a School Counseling credential and have extensive experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families. My clinical focus includes supporting clients experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, ADHD, and life transitions such as divorce. My therapeutic approach is goal-oriented, creative, and collaborative. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, art and play therapy, and psychoeducation to foster insight, resilience, and positive change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your goals, background, and current challenges, and together we’ll create a plan that feels supportive and comfortable. My goal is to help each child and family feel heard, comfortable and confident as we begin this process together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is that I cultivate a safe space where children feel comfortable and understood. I build strong, trusting relationships and take a goal-oriented, creative approach that helps kids grow and develop new coping skills.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I help children ages 6–12 to develop emotional awareness, coping strategies, and adaptive behavior skills. My background as a school-based therapist has allowed me to support children experiencing anxiety, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. I’m dedicated to helping each child feel confident, understood, and empowered to manage their emotions and thrive in daily life.
