My approach is warm and collaborative, creating a safe space to explore your challenges while equipping you with practical tools and strategies. Together, we focus on building skills you can use in everyday life to manage stress, regulate emotions, and navigate challenges confidently. I work with clients facing ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, autism, life transitions, and motherhood challenges. Using DBT, CBT, ERP, and play therapy, I provide practical tools and support in a warm, collaborative way to help clients manage emotions, build skills, and thrive in daily life.

First session

In your first session, we focus on understanding your unique needs and goals. You can expect a warm, empathetic, and inquisitive conversation where I listen carefully, ask questions, and gather information. By the end, we’ll have a clear plan for treatment and next steps tailored to you.

Strengths

I was a neurodivergent child with ADHD, which fueled my passion for understanding the mind and helping others navigate similar challenges. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from Indiana University and completed my Master’s at California State University, inspiring my journey to become a provider dedicated to supporting. I help clients reach their goals by collaborating to identify what matters most to them and breaking those goals into practical, achievable steps. Using evidence-based strategies, skill-building exercises, and ongoing reflection, I guide clients in applying tools in real life, track progress, and adjust plans as needed to create lasting change.

Ideal clients

My ideal clients are children, teens, and adults who are ready to actively engage in the therapy process. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, autism, life transitions, and the challenges of motherhood. My approach combines evidence-based therapies—including CBT, DBT, ERP, and play therapy—with a warm, collaborative style that focuses on building practical skills for everyday life. The clients who tend to benefit most from working with me are those who are willing to attend sessions consistently, reflect between appointments, and practice the skills we discuss. Therapy is most effective when it's a team effort, so I encourage weekly sessions and small, manageable homework assignments that help clients apply what they're learning in real life. Together, we'll work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable.

Treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps clients develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions rather than trying to eliminate them. In my practice, I use ACT to help clients build psychological flexibility—the ability to make choices based on their values, even when anxiety, self-doubt, intrusive thoughts, or uncomfortable emotions are present.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my practice, I use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge beliefs that may be contributing to distress, and develop healthier ways of coping.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Together, we focus on four core skill areas: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Clients learn how to identify and understand their emotions, cope with distress without making situations worse, communicate their needs confidently, and stay present during difficult moments. I tailor these skills to each client's goals and daily life, making them relevant and easy to practice outside of session.
