Welcome! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Michigan with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. I work with adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other internal challenges. I also work with couples and families to restructure maladaptive interactions and behaviors and work toward healthier relationship dynamics. I am also an ally to the LGBTQ+ community. Therapeutic approaches: CBT, EFT, ACT, Mindfulness, Psycho-Education, Non-Judgement, and Rapport to help get you closer to becoming your best self.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am told by my clients that I offer a safe space of non-judgement. An opportunity for free expression and exploration of deeper feelings and challenges while learning healthy ways to incorporate change to work toward becoming your best self.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is used to help you identify thinking patterns that contribute to symptoms of anxiety and depression and restructure them to develop healthier perspectives over time.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is to help you use acceptance and mindfulness strategies along with commitment and behavior-change strategies to increase emotional stability.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling is a combination of learning healthy relationship skills. You will learn about acknowledging and embracing your feelings and triggers within your interactions with your partner.

Family Therapy

Family counseling is a combination of learning healthy relationship skills, unpacking trauma and generational patterns, and acknowledging and embracing your feelings and triggers within your interactions with your family members.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing includes helping you to identify barriers for changing unwanted behaviors and identifying things that motivate you to change unwanted behaviors and keeping it at the forefront of your mind when making decisions.
