I am a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in the psychiatric evaluation, solution-oriented psychotherapy, and medication management of adults with mental illness. My experience as an Adult and Geriatric primary care nurse practitioner afforded me the opportunity to see the need for mental health services in my rural community I served. I believe in a holistic approach to care: spirit, soul, and body. Early on, I found myself drawn to listening to others, trying to understand their perspectives, and offering support where I could.

I start by introducing myself and setting a calm, nonjudgmental tone. I explain confidentiality, conduct a comprehensive assessment, and collaborate with you on a treatment plan. We leave time for questions. I guarantee you will be heard!
